Start with the exact combination
Before signing, confirm the indoor and outdoor model numbers, the AHRI reference when applicable, the installation requirements and the current submission process. A brand name or nominal capacity alone is not enough.
Keep a complete project file
Retain the quote, invoice, model numbers, installation date and supporting documents. Program rules can change; the official directory is the decision point.
